Having correct cut setting can save you a world of trouble. I have put in allot of work when it comes to the materials i use refining the factory recommended settings which sometimes didn't work and creating my own. Using the generic settings inside silhouette studio or recommended by Siser is cool. However you should learn you machine and be able to fine tune it so get the result that you want to have.

Cutting a Detail Image?

If I have a image that has allot of fine detail, then I like to slow the cutter down between 2 and 6. Your cut time will increase but the fine details will come out allot better. Sometimes you can also use a blade depth of 2 as well.
